Keyboard shortcuts

The complete list. Press F1 inside the app to see the same thing without leaving your work.

On a Mac, use ⌘ wherever Ctrl is written below. Shortcuts are ignored while you are typing in a text box, so Delete removes a character rather than an element when you are mid-edit.

Triangle, star and arrow have no single-key shortcut — they are less frequently used, and the letters were better spent elsewhere. Add them from the toolbar.

Worth learning first

If you only commit four to memory, make them these:

  • Ctrl+Z — because experimenting costs nothing when undo is reliable
  • Arrow keys — nudging is far more precise than dragging for final placement
  • Ctrl+D — duplicating a styled element beats building a second one from scratch
  • Ctrl+S — a saved design turns next week's job into two clicks
