Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect the minimum needed to sell you software and keep your licence working. Your product data never leaves your computer.
What we collect
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| Email address | To send your licence key, receipts and important notices |
| Name and business name | Optional. For invoices and support |
| Hashed licence key | To verify activations. We cannot reverse it |
| Device fingerprint | A one-way hash identifying each computer, so we can count activations |
| Computer name, operating system, app version | To show you which machines are activated, and to support you |
| IP address | Security, fraud prevention and rate limiting |
| Label print counts | To enforce trial limits and, on Business plans, to give you reporting |
| Payment records | Legal requirement. Card details are held by Stripe, never by us |
What we do not collect
- Your product catalogue — it stays on your computer
- Your label designs
- The contents of anything you print
- Your card number, which only Stripe ever sees
Device fingerprints
To count activations we need to tell computers apart. The app combines details about your machine and hashes them one way before sending. We receive a 64-character code. We cannot reverse it into hardware serial numbers or anything identifying.
Who we share it with
- Stripe — payment processing. Their privacy policy applies to card data.
- Our hosting provider — stores the database.
- Nobody else. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Licence and activation records for as long as your licence is active, plus two years. Payment and invoice records for seven years, as Australian tax law requires. Support emails for two years.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email amitpanta7@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Deleting your account removes your personal details but retains transaction records, because we are legally required to keep them.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords and licence keys are stored hashed, never in readable form. Access to the administration system is restricted and logged.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Cookies
This website uses one cookie, for administrator sign-in. There is no advertising or analytics tracking.
